1. Scope of this policy
This draft describes how cancellation and refund terms should be handled for Ventrabyte services. The signed proposal, statement of work, invoice, or subscription agreement for a project is the primary place to define those terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply.
2. Confirm terms before payment
Before accepting a proposal or making a payment, review the project scope, payment schedule, start date, milestones, cancellation process, and refund treatment. The written agreement should say whether an initial payment is refundable, how work already completed is charged, and how approved third-party costs are handled.
3. Requesting a cancellation
Send a written cancellation request to hello@ventrabyte.com and include your name, project or invoice reference, and requested cancellation date. The applicable project agreement determines when cancellation takes effect and what work or charges remain due.
4. Refund eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the written terms for the specific engagement and applicable law. The agreement should explain how any refund is calculated in light of completed work, approved milestones, committed resources, and third-party costs that were disclosed or authorized. This page does not promise a universal refund window or a refund for work already completed.
5. Ongoing support or recurring services
For recurring maintenance, support, or other ongoing services, the agreement should state the required cancellation notice, the date service ends, the final billing period, and whether any unused prepaid amount is refundable. Check the signed agreement for the terms that apply to your service.
6. If a deliverable or service has an issue
Contact Ventrabyte with the project reference and a clear description of the issue. The parties should first use the review, correction, acceptance, or dispute process stated in the project agreement. Nothing in this section limits consumer or other rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
7. Approved refunds
If a refund is approved, the written confirmation should state the amount, payment method, and expected processing arrangements. The payment provider or financial institution may affect when the funds appear in your account.
8. Changes to this policy
Ventrabyte may update this policy when its services or legal requirements change. The version in force for a project should be identified in the relevant agreement or order. This page is a draft until Ventrabyte confirms its actual cancellation and refund rules.
9. Contact
For a cancellation or refund request, email hello@ventrabyte.com with your project or invoice reference, or use the contact page.
